Commission Agreement
By submitting a commission request, you agree to enter into a formal agreement with Josiphiah Michael. Each commission is a custom contract that outlines specific deliverables, timelines, and payment terms.
Payment Terms
A 70% deposit is required to begin work on any commission. The remaining balance is due upon completion before delivery. All payments are non-refundable once work has commenced.
Intellectual Property
All designs, patterns, and creative concepts remain the intellectual property of Josiphiah Michael. The physical garment becomes your property upon full payment.
Non-Refundable Policy
Josiphiah Michael operates as an independent fashion designer, stylist, and upcyclist. All services and garments are created through a personal design practice and are not produced under a fashion label or mass-production model.
Each project — including consultations, custom designs, editorial styling, and creative direction — involves dedicated creative labor, research, sourcing of materials, reconstruction processes, and reserved time allocations. Many pieces are one-of-one works developed specifically for the client or project.
Due to the bespoke and conceptual nature of this work, all payments are final.
All consultations are non-refundable.
All styling services are non-refundable.

Once a booking is confirmed or work has commenced, payments cannot be returned under any circumstances. By securing a service or commission, you acknowledge and agree to this Non-Refundable Policy.
